Removing Najasah

The fourth question of Fatwa no. 17628
Q 4: There is a person who wears a certain clothing when he goes to bed. He sometimes has a wet dream. Do his clothes become Najis (ritually impure) and should they be washed, or is it sufficient for him to take them off when offering Salah (Prayer) and then wear them without washing them?
A: Clothes do not become Najis if stained with Maniy (semen) due to a wet dream, because Maniy is Tahir (ritually pure) according to the most correct opinion of the scholars. But they should be washed for the sake of cleanliness.
May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
